On Tuesday, August 8, 2023, Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical was onsite with KPRC 2’s Lauren Kelly, Keith Garvin and Daniella Guzman, and Houston Habitat for Humanity’s Executive Director, Allison Hay, as they dedicated the 10th annual Habitat home to a deserving family in partnership with Houston Habitat for Humanity.

The house, which is in Houston Habitat’s newest development is Robin’s Landing, a 127-acre community. According to Habitat for Humanity, Habitat Homes are not gifted or free, but are earned with hard work and must meet strict requirements to be approved.

Abacus Plumbing’s group of volunteers dedicated one day of work to help build the new home. See photos showing our team working hard on a warm, summer day in Houston. But they had a great time and wrote many blessings on the frame of the house. Abacus is very happy to have had a small part in something that is so lifechanging for one, well deserving family!
