For the second year in a row, Niche.com has ranked The Woodlands as the best city in America to live in.
According to its website, Niche considers factors such as affordability, the local housing market, neighborhood diversity, the area’s public school, and its walkability for their annual rankings, using data from the U.S. Census, FBI, BLS, CDC, and resident reviews.
The Woodlands ranked high for public schools, housing, jobs, outdoor activities, diversity, and health and fitness, with its lowest grade in crime and safety. Niche also ranked The Woodlands as the nation’s second-best city to buy a house in and second-best city to raise a family in.
Although Niche ranked The Woodlands as its top city in America to live in, The Woodlands only came in second in Niche’s ranking of the best places around Houston to live:
